Where are you currently working and what is the biggest issue that you are facing at work or what is currently keeping you busy there?
Currently, we are in the middle of a merger with Aussie. It essentially quintupled the number of brokers we're providing our platform, and thus we're very busy getting all of them on board. It is a big step in transforming the entire home-loan space towards a much more customer-friendly future.
Has there been a professional challenge since you were a student for which your studies or experiences at the NIT have prepared you for perfectly?
I think no amount of study can prepare you for the "real" world. However, there are many concepts I've learned at the NIT that help me every day. Most impactful have been the communication and feedback techniques I've learned at the NIT, which help me lead my team well.
What has happened in your private life in the meantime?
I have moved to Australia to marry the love of my life (we got engaged while I was at the NIT), and we and our puppies are living happily ever after – or whatever the real-life equivalent of that might be.
